TOPIC: Origins of the Canadian Birkebeiner Ski Festival
PearlAnn is a Professor at the University of Alberta who studies the history and heritage of the Canadian West. She will be talking about the origins of the Canadian Birkebeiner Ski Festival.
PearlAnn leads the Ski Like a Girl research team in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation. She is an award winning author, has guest lectured at the University of Gustave Eiffel and the University of Innsbruck, and her current work examines the landscapes and legacies of skiing in Canada.
